This tobacco is exceptionally hardy to diseases and can grow to the harshest environments.
TN-90 is a burley species with a shorter stock and a high yield.
This burley is one of the most important burleys in the tobacco industry, especially the pipe tobacco industry (as well as MD-609).
TN-90 is a high yield tobacco.
Use and Flavor:
TN-90 produces a light earthy and spicy flavor with medium/low nicotine levels.
TN-90 is commonly used for cigarette and pipe tobacco.
TN-90 is traditionally an air cured tobacco.
Growth:
This tobacco grows to approximately 6-7 ft in high quality soils, the leaves it produces are heavy and cure to a light yellow color.
It is a high yield plant and it grows quickly in most soil and climatic conditions.
It produces intense pink flowers.
Plant matures and tobacco is ready to harvest in 50-60 days post transplant.
