Gold Dollar is one of the rarest tobacco strains originating from the United States.
It produces a tobacco that is traditionally flue cured and produces a light brown tobacco, historically used for pipe and cigarette blends.
Gold Dollar is a special tobacco in many ways – predominantly that it matures faster than any other tobacco out there – specifically, this tobacco matures in approximately 25-30 days from its final transplant.
It is a high yield – burley like tobacco and produces medium sized leaves with a medium/low nicotine level.
Use and Flavor:
Gold Dollar is predominantly used for pipe and cigarette tobacco blending.
It is a sweet, slightly spicy and earthy tobacco.
Growth:
This tobacco grows to approximately 5-6 ft tall in high quality soils, the leaves it produces are heavy and cure to a light color.
It is a medium/high yield plant and it grows quickly in most soil and climatic conditions.
It produces intense pink flowers.
Plant matures and tobacco is ready to harvest in 25-30 days post transplant.
