Virginia DE,
This is one of the most special species of tobacco that we have in stock – Virginia DE.
It has originated from Germany where it was crossbred to create a Virginia tobacco that is more hardy to weather and produce higher yield.
It has particularly wide and dark leaves that are primarily used for cigarette blends.
The plant grows to a medium height, bushy and very wide. It produces beautiful wide and dark green leaves – besides this is a byproduct of Virginia Dark.
Use and Flavor:
Commonly used as cigarette tobacco.
Virginia DE has a strong flavor.
Growth:
This tobacco grows to >4.00 ft in high quality soils, the leaves it produces are >25″ and >15″ wide, and cure to a light brown color.
It is a high yield plant and it grows quickly in good soil and climatic conditions.
It produces white, bell-like flowers, with a pinkish/reddish hue at the petals.
Fast maturing plant –Â 40-60 days (flowering to harvest).
